Sometimes it is necessary to enforce a financial settlement made abroad against assets in England and Wales. Alternatively, it may be necessary to enforce a Judgment of the English Court against an asset situated in another jurisdiction. There are a number of international treaties that govern the enforcement of judgments or settlements made in one country against capital or income resources situated in another. We are able to advise our clients on the enforcement of Judgments abroad and on the enforcement of Judgments of the Court of another country in England and Wales.
